Chemistry, Tap Shoes, and the Loch Ness Monster

So this morning I had a Chemistry lecture.  After the lecture I was feeling a lot more confident that I will be able to comprehend all that I am going to learn in Chemistry.  I'm not a big math person (Chem has more math than Bio which I took last year), but I think I might actually have fun with Chem.  Although who knows, I could be singing a completely different song in a few weeks when we get past the first module. O_O

Later today I have tap and lyrical at dance.  I recently got new tap shoes, but I discovered that they are too big!  This is an issue because we do a lot of toe stands in one of my tap classes and, because my shoes are too big, they hurt my feet.  I had to get new tap shoes in the first place because the toe of my one of my old tap shoes ripped away from the sole when I was doing... duh duh duuuhhnnn... toe stands!  Anyway, we ordered my new shoes online because the dance store near us did not have the style of shoe that my teacher recommended I get.  Unfortunately we ordered my shoes a half size too big. :P  We can no longer send them back because I've been wearing them for a few weeks and only realized last week that said shoes were too large.  Because tap shoes are expensive (and my feet may or may not grow into the shoes I have now), I have to wear socks and my old pointe shoe toe pads with my tap shoes.  Thankfully I know that this solution works pretty well because I tried it at company practice on Friday and there were no issues.  I was very pleased. :D

Now that I have told of my latest adventures, I should get back to writing my paper on how the Loch Ness Monster ate my science project (It's my response to the prompt for my latest writing assignment.  I'm excited!  This is going to be fun!). 8D
