So in one of my recent posts, I briefly mentioned that I was writing a paper on how the Loch Ness Monster ate my science project. :) I am writing this in response to my writing assignment, part of which was:
"Your assignment this week is to pretend you are an ordinary high school student
who has come to class without a very important project that was due. Fortunately, you
do remember to bring an excuse note — the most outrageous, far‐fetched excuse note
ever!"
When I read my assignment, I was very excited. For some reason, I immediately came up with a strange sequence of events, I've simplified those actually, that eventually led to the Loch Ness monster destroying my project. I'm still working on the details. I will have a few drafts of my paper to do, but if it's okay with my teacher I will post the final product here in a few weeks. I won't do this for every paper, but I really like this assignment and would like to show off my work. :)
